WHAT IS ADHD

ADHD is an acronym for "Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder". It is a condition in children and adults that is characterized by inattention, impulsiveness and hyperactivity. It affects between 3 to7 percent of children, and between 2-4 percent of adults.

For ADHD to be diagnosed, the symptoms must persist for a minimum of 6 months.
