Strattera is a newly FDA approved medication for the treatment of

STRATTERA MEDICATION
Strattera is a non-stimulant medicine used to treat Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity
Disorder (ADHD). It is the first FDA approved non-stimulant medication for
the treatment of ADHD in children, adolescents and adults and the only FDA
approved medication clinically proven effective for adults. Straterra contains
atomoxetine hydrochloride, a selective norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor.
Straterra is prescribed as a part of an overall ADHD treatment.
Who should NOT take Strattera?
Do not take Strattera if you have taken a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI)
prescription medicine in the last two weeks. Examples of MAOI medicines
include Nardil® and Parnate®. A combination of these medicines could
cause serious side effects and may be life-threatening. Do not take Strattera
if you have narrow angle glaucoma, an eye disease. Do not take Strattera
if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Please
